NSLC Improves Pricing Clarity

first_imgThe Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation (NSLC) has changed the way itdisplays the prices on its products. Effective immediately, all NSLC products will feature before taxprices, with taxes and bottle deposits shown separately, thecorporation announced today, Jan. 4. Under the new system, the price of a case of beer is displayed as$14.60. HST of $2.19 and bottle deposit of $1.20 is shownseparately, for a total of $17.99. Prior to this change, theprice was displayed simply as $17.99. The change in the way prices are displayed will not result inprice increases, but will provide clearer information forconsumers. The Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation provides world class selectionand service of beverage alcohol through the operation of 104retail and seven agency stores throughout the province.
